Happy 7th Birthday Panacea Adviser!

Happy 7th Birthday Panacea Adviser!

The number seven is seen by many as enigmatic and lucky - it’s influence spreads far and wide. Some famous sevens include:

  1. Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
  2. Seven Deadly Sins
  3. The Seven Dwarfs
  4. Seven Continents
  5. Seven Days of the Week
  6. The Seven Seas of Rhye
  7. Seven colours of the rainbow

Additionally did you know…

  • Seven is "neutral" on the pH scale. Pure water has a pH of seven.
  • There are seven bones in the head, neck and ankle.
  • In the Harry Potter series of novels, seven is said to be the most powerfully magical number.
  • Seven is the minimum age at which a UK savings account holder can withdraw money.
  • Seven has the highest probability of occurring as an addition when rolling dice.
  • The common ladybird has seven spots.
  • The seven of clubs in a deck of Tarot cards represents initiative, ambition, drive and desire.

Given its social status, we have decided not to go with tradition and celebrate five or ten – but to celebrate seven years of Panacea!

In the last seven years we have seen our community grow from 100 advisers, supported by just seven providers to an active community of over 17,000 today, supported by some 42 providers and other firms (a multiple of seven)

We have expanded our offering of free tools and support services over the years and continue to act as a much-needed voice for advisers, to debate and challenge the regulator and other policymakers about issues affecting our community.

The team at Panacea is immensely proud of what we have achieved and we look forward to the future – supporting our community in running their businesses more efficiently, facilitating contact with providers and assisting with improving their service to clients.

Take a look at our short video to see how we have grown from that first incarnation! Turn up your volume and enjoy the ride with us.
