Scottish Life: New platform rules bring greater expectations

What did it say?

The main body of the policy statement confirmed that from April 2014:

Fund providers can't pay platforms (with some exceptions).
Cash rebates to customers will not be allowed (unless it's £1 or less per fund per month or the customer has already sold their holding), unit rebates are allowed.
