Prudential: 2017 Budget webex
Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond will deliver the first Autumn budget (although the second budget of 2017) on Wednesday 22 November.
In the world of movies, the sequel is usually worse than the original, but post the General Election in June will this sequel be better? To keep the analogy going, will this budget have twists and turns? Will stamp duty be altered? What about tax rates or allowances (such as personal allowance or the pensions annual allowance). Will there be more dividend changes? Another plot twist (that’s often mooted), could this be the budget that sees changes to tax relief (not just for pensions, but EIS/VCT etc). With a tax cast this big, there could be many avenues that this script could explore.
Prudential is here to help, so their Technical Managers will analyse the Budget and summarise what it all means for you and your clients.
All you need to do is register for their 2017 Budget webex, which will take place on Thursday, 23 November, at 10am.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the analysis landing in your inbox on the morning of 23 November.
