The Protect Association provides an information and networking hub for companies and individuals working in the UK, Life, Health, Protection, and General Insurance sectors.

We organise meetings and events for our members, with speakers on regulatory and other topical issues and opportunities. Consumer Duty has been taking centre-stage currently.

Sponsorship and hosting opportunities are available at our events, to our members and also non member companies that wish to raise their profiles with our membership reach, by showcasing their products and services that would enhance our member’s businesses. We also have a Protect Association Linked In Group.

History of the Protect Association

We were formed initially by a group of UK insurance underwriters in Sept 1999.
On 29th January 2010, our members approved a new constitution, opening up our membership to any companies and individuals that are interested, or involved in, the UK Life, Health, Protection, and General Insurance sectors, and their related products and services. It is an unincorporated association and is not for profit.
